Ella has a keen interest in advising on media and technology law, driven by a strong interest in how emerging technologies and digital platforms are reshaping the way information is shared and consumed.
Her early experience in New Zealand’s media industry as a teenager instilled in her a deep respect for the field and a deep respect for the creative processes involved in bringing productions to life.
At university, Ella pursued a dual focus in marketing and law, which sparked her passion for intellectual property law. She is particularly drawn to how legal frameworks can protect creative assets and how brands can be strategically built to leave a lasting impression on consumers.
Outside of work, Ella enjoys playing social sports, spending time outdoors, connecting with family and friends, and unwinding with a great book.
