As a tech lawyer, Sam is passionate about helping tech businesses reach their full potential. He has a deep interest in understanding how the law applies to innovative and valuable technologies, and have particular expertise in technology contracts, data privacy, and intellectual property.
Sam began his legal career at Hudson Gavin Martin, where he advised (and continues to advise) a diverse range of organisations, from early-stage start-ups to global corporations, on a wide array of commercial, technology, and intellectual property matters. Prior to returning to HGM, he served at a firm that specialises in supporting the growth and development of early-stage and expanding technology companies. Sam has also served in-house as Technology and Innovation Counsel for Tesco PLC in the UK,where was responsible for providing guidance on significant technology projects and initiatives, including crucial technology deals and trials that leveraged cutting-edge, disruptive technologies.
